Telegram crypto payments, straight to your own wallet
Link a Telegram chat to your Unheld account and you can create a payment link with one message, check your payments and balances, and get a message when an invoice is paid. The money still goes to a wallet only you control; the bot never holds it.
What you can do from the chat
- Create a payment link: send an amount and an asset, or pick them from the menu, and share the link it returns.
- See your recent payments and the state each one is in.
- Get a signup link for any of your subscription plans.
- Look at a customer, and at the confirmed totals you have received.
- Disconnect the chat at any time and the messages stop.
How to connect Telegram
- 01
Connect the chat
Open the Telegram page of your dashboard, generate a code and send it to the bot. From then on the chat belongs to your account.
- 02
Create a payment
Pick an asset, a network and an amount in the menu, or send them as one message. You get a payment link and a button that opens it.
- 03
Get told when it lands
The bot messages you when an invoice is paid, once the payment has settled. Overpaid and expired invoices each get their own message.
The messages you get
One message per event, in the chat you linked:
- Payment received
- Overpaid invoice
- Invoice expired
Open the payment page inside Telegram
In your own chat with the bot, a link it creates comes with a button that opens the hosted payment page inside Telegram as a Mini App. The link itself is an ordinary payment link: share it anywhere and it opens in any browser.
What to know
- The bot is for you, the merchant. It is not a storefront or a wallet, and your customers do not need to talk to it.
- It never holds a payment or a private key. Payments land on addresses derived from your own wallet.
- A message in a chat is a notification, not a record, and payment messages pause while your account is over its plan’s capacity. Fulfil orders from your dashboard or the signed webhook, not from a chat message.
- Everyone in a Telegram chat sees its messages. Link a private chat if you do not want a team to see every payment.
Telegram payment questions
Is there a Telegram bot for crypto payments?
Yes. Link a chat to your account from the Telegram page of your dashboard and the bot creates payment links, lists your payments and messages you when you are paid.
Can customers pay inside Telegram?
The link the bot gives you is an ordinary payment link, so a customer can open it in any browser, from Telegram or anywhere else. The button that opens it as a Mini App appears in your own chat with the bot.
Does the bot hold my money?
No. Unheld never holds a payment. It lands on an address derived from your wallet, and the bot only reports it.
Can I use the bot instead of a webhook?
Use both. The bot tells a person; the signed webhook tells your software. Fulfil orders from the webhook, not from a chat message.
