Why there is no percentage
A percentage fee exists because a custodial processor sits inside the money flow — it receives your payment, then forwards a smaller one. Unheld is never in that position. Payments land on addresses derived from your own wallet, so there is nothing to take a cut of. What you pay for is the service around the payment: watching the chain, confirming it, tracking exact amounts, and telling your system what happened.
What counts as a transaction
One confirmed incoming payment credited to you — an invoice payment, a customer deposit, or a subscription renewal. Each on-chain transaction counts once. Testnet is free and unlimited on every plan, including Free, so integration and testing never consume capacity.
Going over your plan
Payments still arrive and are still credited — detection and the dashboard never stop, because money on a blockchain arrives whether or not a plan allows it. What pauses is the creation of new billable items, and outgoing webhooks are held and replayed once capacity frees. You are alerted at 80% and 100% of your allowance.
What to know about pricing
- Network fees. The payer pays these to the blockchain itself, never to Unheld, and they vary with network conditions rather than with your plan.
- Fiat settlement. Unheld does not convert to or pay out in currency — payments arrive in the asset they were sent in, on the chain they were sent on.
- Card processing. This is a crypto payment gateway; it does not replace a card processor.
- Every plan has a stated transaction and customer cap, listed above, so you always know what you are buying.
Pricing questions
Does Unheld take a percentage of my payments?
No. Pricing is a flat monthly subscription based on transaction count, and the platform never sits inside the payment flow, so there is nothing for it to take a cut of. You keep 100% of every payment. Network fees are paid by the payer to the blockchain.
What happens if I exceed my plan?
Payments continue to arrive and are still credited to you — detection never stops. New billable items pause and outgoing webhooks are held, then replayed when capacity frees through an upgrade, a top-up, or the monthly reset. Alerts fire at 80% and 100%.
Do testnet transactions count against my plan?
No. Testnet is free and unlimited on every plan, including Free. You can integrate end to end, test every payment state, and verify webhooks without consuming capacity.
